Hello,

I have a Canon 430EXii and was wondering can you buy a battery pack for them?? I have had a quick look but nothing. Think it would help out a lot with charging and such as i tend to forget the aa's.

No. Not HV anyway.

Only the 580 series have the HV socket.
 
Quantum do an adapter (the MB2) to use the QB1 battery pack with the 430EXII. You'd be looking at about £240 for both from the likes of WEX.
 
Its just 6 volts.

Doesn't reduce recycle.

What's the point?
 
Canon put a HV socket on their 430ez's.

Why the hell they took it back off for later iterations I don't know.

Sometimes they just wind me up!

Don't get me started on the wheel barrow full of Canon FD L glass I had to sell when they converted mount.
