Flappy flipping strap

Hi guys,
I used the standard strap i got with the 400d but i cant stand it! It gets in the way and looks a mess is there a neater alternative like a small wrist strap as on a compact or will that break easy. Any suggestion welcome cheers

I use this http://camdapter.com/ with the canon handstrap. You can get other solutions for the 400D but this one allows you to replace the battery without taking the strap off.

The camdapter took about a week to come through

If you buy a battery grip you can attach a canon e-1 handstrap and they are much more comfortable to use!

i think there are straps the mount on to the tripod socket. As you have probably guess if you ever want use a tripod you will have to remove it and attach it again when done.
