I have a Nikon 300mm f2.8G VR which which I have discovered an issue.
The AF performance is very inconsistent. Repeated tests with Focal confirm an issue with a suggested AFMA that is well outside the adjustable range (consistently around -36 in the tests).
Who to send it to?
Nikon, who seem to take forever with repairs?
Fixation, who I have used in the past, but which a quick bit of internet research suggests may not be performing well at the moment?
Does anyone have a recent experience they would care to share regarding lens repairs with either?
