I started this back on the first of Jan, way before I joined TP, so I'm not going to retrospectively add the shots I've taken so far, but they can all be found on my Flickr site should anyone be interested.
To be honest, it's probably not the best day for me to start this thread as I'm suffering from a distinct lack of inspiration today which I think is clearly apparent in my shot below, but the whole project has a bit of a "take the rough with the smooth" air to it, and I'm determined that I'll get one shot a day even if I'm not always happy with the results. On the whole though I think it's helping me to improve as a photographer, both technically, and also in terms of developing my eye for shots. As I work from home and often don't get the time to venture from the house on some days, necessity often becomes the mother of invention, so an eye for a shot in even the most humdrum and familiar of places is something I've had to try and develop. Anyway, enough of the blurb, here's today's rather average effort. Hopefully things will (mostly) get better than this.
