Fisheye Software

Hi Everyone

Just brought myself the circular 4mm f2.8 Sigma Fisheye. Can anyone recommend a software package that is better than CS5 for distortion and from turning the pic from the round composition into a flattened image

I am confused, isn't the point of this lens to have a round result? To get a rectangular image you would use a normal lens?

Why not post an image that we can play with and see if someone can get it squared off if that is what you need

Yes sounds confusing I have inserted a pic basically I dont like the black around the composition and the flatten part is more to erase distortion

These are both very quick as I am supposed to be cooking dinner - I used the warp tool in CS5 but still not 100% sure what you are looking for - are either of these close?

Make picture smaller than frame so you have some grey space around it as above as this makes it easier to see what you are doing
To open transform tool - Ctrl (or Cmd) +T
the click on the shaped icon as outlined in purple in the image below and pull the picture around until you are happy with it, you can use the picture itself or the lines or the "dots"

CS6 has better distortion control for ultra wide lens, not cheap though, and Christines done a smashing job there
