Fish lover?

Don't really enjoy salmon much ... except occasionally wild salmon when it's available, difference between wild and farmed is incredible.

We were brought up on all things fishing and shooting. As a result salmon, sea trout, brown trout were on the menu so much I can take them or leave them nowadays.

Certainly wouldn't order any of them if out for a meal :|

I've eaten my fair share of fish over the years. My Father was a very keen fisherman all his life, fishing river, lake and sea, from boat and shore so fresh fish was a big part of my diet when I was growing up.

I'm debating whether to set some long-lines in the next month or so to get myself some nice bass when they start coming in.

Never buy fish at any restaurant or supermarket. Only fish I eat are ones that I catch. Not very often either but I do love Bass,Bream and Cod.

The bass should be on their way in now, although with the drop in temperatures through April I expect the season won't be as good early-on as it should be.
