Yes
thought i'd give it a go as everyone else is.
I've downloaded it and installed the trial. The first result is below. What you think? Is it worth paying for the software and would i really get much use from it?

What was the shot like without it?

I imagine quiet bland. It seems like a snapshot to me. As if you stepped out the office and took it. Its not the best candidate to try HDR out on. Either way, the processing isn't that great imho. The bonnet seems odd and the tones are all over the shop. Its also a bit under-exposed.

that was the look i was going for :)

the original was made up of three jpegs with expose +/-1
I didnt quite get them to line up properly though :(

As petemc said - the tones are all over the place.
The areas in shadow (the pasesenger side, front bumper) is brighter than areas in direct sunlight (the bonnet and roof)

oh well i tried. i thought it looked cool LOL

well wont be buying that pice of software then

brummie, I think you just need to try it with a pic worthy of the HDR process. Take a good long look at some of Pete's and decide what you like about the processing and then use your eye to express that. I think you and us will like the results much more.

I dont think its the software thats at fault or even the way you thought of processing it. I think its the subject itself that is uninspiring and not very creative.

i did this one too at the same time. maybe a bit in your face????

The clouds are very strange. Remember that processing never makes the photo and that it can easily kill a potentially good photo. Have you read my guide on HDR?

Rofl!!! Youve absolutely murdered that sky Brummie but you know ... I really do love the trees!
I know b*ggerall about HDR, its late and Im tired ... please ignore me and Ill just :coat:

i've had a play with that shot but no matter what settings i have used then it always comes out the same. Must be the fact it is over exposed.
