First Time In A Studio

Our photo club arranged a studio taster session last Tuesday night and I decided to put my name down for it.
I must say it was a great experience.the studio owner was very helpful and made us all feel at ease, I would recommend it to anyone if you get the chance

I'm off on the RPS Studio Photography course on 10th - 11th July down in Lacock - it'll be my first time in a studio too, and I'm looking forward to it!

It was a bit daunting at first with all the lights and a real live model,but we soon settled in and now I cant wait to do it again

I'm always surprised to hear how daunting it can be for a tog shooting a Model for the first time. Imagine what it's like walking into a room on a group shoot as a Model!
The Model was properly more scared of you than you were of her (A bit like Spiders lol)
We run group shoots and tuition sessions specifically aimed at people like you. I'm resident Model here, so i'm on hand to give advice if needed. We also have our own in house printing and framing service if you'd like to bob in sometime?

As a total aside there is a fab story on the front page of the ISL website linked in the above post concerning a girl called Emma who went to ISL for her work experience & ended up with her own exhibition.

Yeah, Emma is fantastic. She's so young yet so talented. She's really passionate about Photography and has a very mature head on her shoulders. It'll be interested for us all following her progress.
