First shot with gear from FITP!!!

Well, a bit rushed at the mo, but managed to find a subject (me!) to use my new kit!

I bought the Yongnuo RF 602's, Yongnuo 460 II and a 24" Softbox.

Shot using EOS 350D & EF 50mm f1.8 AV f5, TV 1/200, ISO 400

Just a quick question the flash seems to have burned through a brand new pack of duracell 4AA batteries within 10-20 flashes is that normal?

- I would hope not... my Yongnuo 460 never did atleast. Especially since your shooting at iso 400.
 
Depends what power you had the flash on i suppose. It will be very worth your time and money investing in some rechargeable batteries.

P.S - Watch your white balance. ;)
 
I thought it was odd, it was a brand new pack but of course they could have been dud's you dont really check, I 'm going to look at rechargeable probably the Sanyo ones. I have taken the second lot out as a precaution! Any thoughts on the lighting is it kind of right? Any suggestions on how it can be improved?
