First pics with new Tamron SP 300

When I say new I mean I bought it off here from DCCD and what a fantastic lens it is.
I slapped it on my D90, dragged it to Marwell on a monopod, and here are a few of the many pics I took with it.








I love the way that the 2.8 aperture throws the subject out of the background at you.

Super shots Sean - competes with £2k+ lenses. You just need the patience to do the focus bit.

I was thinking about getting something simlar--the tamron f2.8 28-70. The reviews on this lens and the other Tamron lenses have been good at B and H

As a first trip out using it I was very pleased, I had to get used to manually focusing and setting my own aperture and shutter speed again but I really felt in control of the outcome.
