Never done much printing apart from a few I have done on the 3 in one printer we have but never been happy with the results so with a bit spare cash I am wanting to buy a dedicated printer and have my mind set on a Canon 9000 Pro MK 2 and the finger is hovering over the buy button at £249, here all I need is a nudge :D.
 
This is one I've been contemplating as well , I know that a cis is available but wondered if the prints were of a quality good enough to sell ?
 
Seems a great price for such a good unit. I've read some great reviews on that model. I'd say go for it :-)
 
I now have the iX6550 after moving from a life long perversion with Epsom - I've never looked back.

Prints Quality - 10/10
Value per Print - 10/10
Replacement Ink Cost - 10/10

I wont buy another brand other than Canon again - I don't care how good they say others are!

I have went for it but managed to find a little used s/h one under a year old for £160.
 
Just printed my very first image and compared to the results from our domestic 3in1 printer the 9000 mk2 is amazing !!!
 
Mal ,do you think that they would be of a quality to sell ? Not sure what the colour life is on these . I know that the 9500 mkII is supposed to offer gallery quality , just really wondered what the 9000 mkII produced .

The answer to your question is yes.

I've had mine for a while and the quality is superb. If you use genuine inks your guarenteed great output.

I'm just rearanging my office and when finishe I have a CISS system with Lyson inks to try. Hopefully it will match the origional inks.

Well worth the money.
 
Thanks Chris , I may have to take the plunge with this . I've been wanting a new printer for a while and A3 would be very handy . It's very frustrating that you can't go anywhere these days to try out different printers and ensure you by the right one for your work .
