First lighting setup

I saw this in Jacobs, would it be a good purchase for getting started in table top lighting for products? http://www.jacobsdigital.co.uk/p-40660-jacobs-digital-jacobs-studio-160-two-head-lighting-kit.aspx

It doesn't give any tech spec... only that they are 160watt heads, which may or may not be 160w/s but if it were I would have thought it would say so. So may be a bit underpowered. At that price I would be a bit worried. If value for money is important (when is it not hey) I'd consider Lencarta.

Looks like the ebay ones that can be got for around £150

I wouldn't buy them, save up and get something better.

Look at Lencatra and Elinchrom, both offer great starter kits (but at higher price)

Thanks for the input. Money is a consideration but I would rather hold out for the right set up if only I knew what that was.:shrug: That's why I asked if it was good for a beginner.
