First images with Tamron 28-75 2.8

Ok went and collected a tamron 28-75 2.8 this morning, here's the first test with it, all images are straight out of camera with no PP, saved as jpegs.

It's a super sharp lens! Not that mine gets much use :(
 
The samples you have posted look a bit soft to me.

If you can't tell how sharp an image is from a 640px wide image then why post an image that size showing how sharp it is?

Look at the original post, does he anywhere talk about sharpness???
 
You mentioned sharpness in your first post which then led to someone else saying they are soft which then led to size being mentioned and so on!

Just asking the question on why post small images that prove nothing as proof of how good a lens is?

(not attack on OP as it is a common scenario)
 
I bought one of these 2nd hand just over a month ago - have to say I'm loving it and can't see it coming off my camera for quite some time!
