Hi all

I am going to a golf day which is being run by my brothers business. I am new to photography ( a few months in ). I have a Sony slt A35 with kit lens 18-55mm and a minolta (big beercan) 70-300mm. I just need some tips so i am able to get some good shots. Im doing it to just get some experience but would really appreciate some help, etc different lens or more equipment.

Thanks on advance

i would suspect OK with the 70-300 if its a nice day... dont get in there eye line.. dont take pics on back swing.. stay safe :)

take team pics before they T off if possible.. other than that.. they shouldnt really know your there as they go round..

seach GOLF in this and the sports pic sharing forums :)

Ok will do thanks for ur help. It will be a good learning experience

If you know the course, get into a position that gives you a view of a green, bunker if poss, fairway and a tee. As mentioned above do not take a shot on back swing if you are in audable range. I found on my first golf day knowing some of the players does help. Main thing for me would be enjoy the day and make sure people do not really notice you.
