Yes
Just seen somebody unearth their old camera & I thought it would be an idea to list your first camera. Mine was a Kodak Rettinette 1B.

Well I can only remember my first "proper" camera which was a Fujica STX-1 which I still have though part of the shutter mechanism failed some years ago. It's the camera that got me into photography

Box Brownie

followed by Halina 35x with rangefinder

Still got them somewhere

My first camera....outside of a £5 manual point and shoot piece of plastic I bought to backpack around Indonesia....was a Fuji Finepix something or other. I'm a child of the digital revolution man! And my first hi-fi didn't even have a tape deck! (not really, but close).

Mine was a retina llc, Given to me by my father, I've still got it. She's older than I am!!

Olympus OM-101 SLR with manual override and power focus (which was a electronic thumb wheel you rotated to focus the lens) 20yrs ago.

Ooh, I had one of them, bought it in Gran Canaria, way ahead of it's time in design terms too :) Good thing about it was you could use all the Zuikos as well as the PF lenses

Yashica Minister III - Yashinon 45mm f2.8 Rangefinder ... and I still have it ... :D

Not my images but this is the little beastie

Suppose I should throw some fillum in it and give it a whirl ...

:p

Pentax ME-Super.Still going strong too.
Then a Z10 which was crap as it didn't give as much control as the ME_Super so traded it in and upgraded to a Z1. Still got that one too as it worth more in nostalgia value than anything else these days.

First camera was a Praktica_BX20 with a 35-70mm Ziess zoom and a 70-210mm Ziess zoom bought for my 15th Birthday. Loved it and it gave me an appreciation that photography is fun.

First 'proper' modern SLR was a Canon EOS 650, Canons first autofocus model – awesome and still have it now along with an Canon EOS RT that's collecting dust somewhere.

First camera Nikon F301 with 50mm and Tokina 70-210.

Then switched to Canon EOS 600 with 50mm and 70-210 lenses.

Mine was a Black Pentax ME Super w/Motor Wind. A very nice camera and I wished that I'd kept it. :(

I love it still gets some use today when I feel the dslr is too much.

Just think in years to come it may become a classic

Kodak Instamatic, bought for my Mum cos it was heavily advertised and she assumed from its name it must be like a Polaroid. About the same time I was handed a fixed focus roll film (don't think it was 120) camera, which gave nice results apart from its light leak. First camera I bought for myself was a Boots Beirette, thanks (not) to Which? magazine. Followed with a black Pentax ME Super, despite a friend telling me to get a K1000. I later trounced him by getting the first of three KX-es with their MLU and "Judas window". This is getting to be too much of a potted history . . .

This was 'like' my first camera...................... happy days

How many of you had one of these at school.

Hi

Heres my trusty old friend a Pentax K1000, sigma 70-210mm, X2 TC, various filters, flash and cable release. Still as good today as the day I got it many moons ago. (1976)

Another one who started with a Pentax ME-Super, learnt a lot from that.

My first camera that I owned myself was a Fuji 1300... 1.2mp of sheer bliss ;) No manual controls at all, except flash on or off!
