This shot is basicaly my first attempt with my camcorder ,lots of work to do especialy on the editing side .
This video was taken at 200fps ,i am using elements 15 at the moment and from what i have used so far it apears to be Ok , sorry if the music seems intrusive i am just getting to grips with the basics ,any pointer etc would be gratefull apreciated...i would like to add that if you look closely at the bird feeding you can see the bird using its long beak to pull the tiny piece of food down.

I am using a Sony FS 700 its taking a while to get used to it ,totaly different set up than my photography.
I have found the lcd screen a tad small and i am forever putting my eye to it ,anyway i have just purchased a budget field monitor in hope it may help me.
Also at the moment i am using my wimberley mk1 need to get a video head next

I use premier elements 14. What I like about it is if you alter one frame it alters the whole video.. try the fade in/out next on a longer video, looks really pro.

say from this when I accidently had the camcorder on the wrong stetting

still not perfect but better
Dont think there is much difference with 14 and 15 ,also tried prem pro and the export settings are the same

Nice and smooth effort, Den.

I'm with you on the learning curve, it's a lot of fun though! Only done some garden birds so far, but hoping to get some footage this weekend, as we actually have some sun.

Keep it coming (y)

I'm using Premiere Pro and it's a very good piece of editing software. Lots of tutorials to help with any aspect.

Nice video, IQ looks pretty good. When I view a video with music, I tend to mute video, or simply skip to another.
Just reading up on the Sony FS 700 now, it certainly does look like a good Camcorder. :)

Music , not sure on this one at the moment i think there will be some that suit it and others that dont .I would like to think i could add the the crativity side with music.
It is early days and i do have some ideas in my head its whethere i can put that in to video from the subjects i film. The fs700 is not the best for handling which suits me as it means i have to pretty much plan and set up ,its the only way of nailing what i want ..Big test on how much i am going to miss the DSLR although i could mix it

Hi @den

Just seen the newest vid of yours on Youtube. It looks really, really smooth and great image quality.

Did you film it at 200fps also?
Can you post me a link .When i export via elements youtube it does automatic, but when i go to my account i can only see the one video the Godwit...At the moment i am trying to master the 200fps using the picture profiles and settings cine 1 to 4 plus loads of others ,it seems i have 2 accounts set up will have to sort it
