i got a some jessops vouchers for my birthday so i picked up a jessops 360afd flashgun since i was effectively getting it for nothing. i know it can be used as a slave flash using the on body flash to trigger it, but my question is this:
what do i need to mount it on a tripod/stand and fire it remotely? i'm guessing remote flash triggers of some sort but which ones would people recommend?

i've had a look on calumet but most of it means nothing to me because i'm just getting into lighting.

the Yongnuo RF602 are used a lot by those doing off camera flash. I have the Jessops flashgun and if you go on Amazon yoou can get the tripod mount base for about £5.00 inc postage.

You can use a tripod or a lightstand then.. (It has a threaded hole on the bottom)

You can add a shoot through umbrella and mount. Something like this.

will allow you to use an umbrella on a light stand or tripod.

Or if you have a bit more the Manfrotto version.
