Fireworks - Where do you buy yours from?

Well, 'tis the season to spend your money on fireworks or go to an organised 'do'. Having spent the last few nights watching other peoples' fireworks from my 'study' window, I'm wondering where they get them from.

I've bought some in the past from the likes of Tesco, Morrisons and even one of those 'here today gone tomorrow' firework factory shops that open up in the high street for a week or two. All the ones I ever get are not a patch on the ones other people seem to get. OK, they must be rather expensive because they are not far off being 'display quality', but where do you buy these ones from? Mine just seemed to go whizz bang, these ones I've been seeing other people use go WHIZZ BANG.

Any ideas where you can get decent fireworks from? (ready for next year)
 
I get mine from here, probably a bit far away for you :)

The webpage isn't brilliant but the shop is excellent, my wife won't let me go that side of Baldock at this time of year :'(
 
I normally waste £200/£300 a year with these guys. They do mail order too, but a visit to the shop is good fun as they are really passionate about what they do (downside is you end up spending a fortune whilst in there!:lol:) The fireworks themselves are top class
 
The guy across the back from me usually starts setting off 1-2 hours of fireworks every night (starting at 8pm) for a week either side of bonfire night. This year, not a peep out of him - who says the credit crunch is all bad :naughty:

That would drive me insane.... It's bad enough when Nov 5th is mid week, meaning there are 2 weekends with "pro" displays and joe bloggs backyard effort.... But 2 weeks of it? I'd be praying for a monsoon.
