Hi, I took some fireworks shots recently and am quite disappointed with them. I wonder if anyone could give me some tips to improve?
Here's one of the first test shots I took before the fireworks started. I thought this exposure would be ok when the fireworks started. (incidentally the bright 'star' to the right hand side is actually Jupiter)
I started adjusting the exposure as my lens had started to mist up with condensation (but I didn't realise this until I was packing up) and I was trying to work out what was going wrong!
There's a couple more shots in my Flickr as well.
Does anyone have any advice on what I could do differently the next time i'm shooting fireworks?
For those interested I've written a guide to firework photography this can be found in the tutorials section a link to the guide can be found in my signature
