The TP52 - 2026 firewireguy 52/26-Week 12 - Daily Life

Windows & doors
That's a good photo for the challenge, nice and simple in a good way.

Broken
Luckily it wasn't a mirror, but also very opportune. When I first saw the image I thought it was cracked paint.

Thats a great shot and composition.

Great inspiration for doors & windows.
Good luck with the clean up!
Thanks. It was a good time to find out the vacuum needs fixing too
Big fan of the glass one. Almost looks like floating sea ice with channels cutting through.
Thank you
A well timed mis hap for the theme it makes for an interesting image
I was very fortunate otherwise I'd have been clutching at straws.
Like the broken glass shot, like Kane I thought it was ice
ice ice baby
Great shots FWG
Thank you
Bingo - I hope you thanked her for the assistance lol
It was that she had to rush out and leave me with it that I most enjoyed

I just need look in a mirror. I should have thought of that.
Doors & Windows - Yup, that works.
Was the close crop intentional or the constraints of the environment?

Something Broken - Glass eh? I thought it might be ice.
The crop was because I didn't have a wide-wide lens and I was trying to crop out the unsightly bits.
Thats a great shot and composition.
Thank you!

Windows and doors: I like the crop.

Something broken: You used the opportunity well. Glad it is nothing too precious though.

Week 5 - Rainy Day

The shot works and tells me it was taken outdoors.
I do like the bubbles that the drops have created, they do stand out.
Thanks. It's always fun how if you take a dozen shots of rain in puddles you get a dozen completely different images.

Its tricky knowing how to post process the contrast on an image like this and depending on what screen I'm looking at it on I have a different opinion on it.

Like the rainy day shot, great bubbles and some big splashes, might have cropped a bit on the RHS

Lovely shot. The rebound - splash on the right, I think a crop and making it the "star of the show" would look great.

Good image FWG, really captures the mood of a dreary, rainy day.

Good spot that. I'd lose the white container top left though.

I'm liking your 'looking through' shot FWG and your reflections shot is very interesting.

Love how the jagged reflections mirror the railing, nice.

I think vintage objects is a little weak, but I really like time - well composed and the selective colour works well.

You’ve got the face ! Great highlight
Thank you
I like the pop of colour - nicely done
Thanks, I haven't done a selective colour out of the shame of it for nearly 20 years :D
You've made the clock face really stand out.
Cheers

Yeah Vintage was a massive shoehorn and a hot take on town centers
Nice shot.
Thanks muchly :)

Some weeks are just easier than others. I spent longer than I should have thinking about what I could take a photo of that's red before remembering my latest guitar is bright red.

This is my Harley Benton ST-80 that I use for just Van Halen which it excels at.

Week 11 - Something Red

That's definitely red, you're unlikely to miss place it. You've created a good composition and well controlled lighting.
