The TP 52 - 2025 firewireguy 52 / 2025 - Week 52 (New) and done!

Week 7 - Through a Window

Nice sunrise this morning and you can barely see how filthy our windows are. I like the distortion from the double glazing making it look like a cloning error in the middle :)

Love the warm tones in that sunrise.

A lovely morning view through the window.

Good sunrise is always a nice start to the day. Our window cleaner seems to come a day or two before bad weather so our windows are also filthy most of the time.

Brilliant silouette shot, great lighting.

Window shot is very atmospheric - photos of the sun through trees always works for me!

Week 8 - Street Signs and Symbols.

No prizes where we've spent the last week. This is the biggest sign I could find.

I like the sign - it certainly is big!

Horizontal... close, but for me it doesn't quite work.

That’s horizontal for sure :)

Too good shots. I laughed at the first one because I misread it at first as "buttlines"...

Couple good takes, enjoying the horizontal image but wonder if a touch of contrast or dehaze might make it pop a bit more.

Great colours in the Butlins shot, imagine a few have had their picture taken there
Like the horizontal shot, maybe a bit too much sky for me

Thank you. It was a little bit of a shoehorn on the horizontal and I think I should have maybe cropped it 16:9. But.... LOOK AT THE CLEAR SKY!! Spring is coming!!
That’s horizontal for sure :)
Thank you
I quite like your horizontal take. Simple and calm. Butlin's eh. Brings back a few!!
Thanks. I haven't been to Butlins since I was small but it was really good!
That Butlins sign really stands out!
Thank you
I like the simplicity of your horizontal image.
That's what caught my eye too, I didn't even think of the weekly theme when I took it.

I'm not sure where the Dehaze tool is in PhotoLab and I've never used it in any other tool either .... I'll have to look

Thanks. We had a few posed shots after this one was taken!

Week 10 - Patterns

I had a few options for this week, but this one caught my eye in the end.

I hope the Marvel fan didn't drop it on his toe!

Good spot!

That's really interesting and unusual! Spot the missing symbol!

I like horizontal maybe a little crop of the sky but otherwise a really good shot.
Good take on pattern too.

This is a great image FWG. I like how you've composed it.

That change in mood from the top to the bottom of the picture caught my attention and drew me in.

Week 11 - Animals

Caught this on the beach at Burnham-on-sea during a minis rugby tour.

Fab double Dobbins!

Catching up (sorry!) Butlins shot is a cracker, the backlighting makes it jump off the screen for me, excellent!
Agree with Ryan's comment on horizontal - it's spot on for the theme and some more contrast and turn down on the highlights might emphasise the horizon more
Very intruiging patterns shot and lovely capture of the horses !!

Life seems to have taken over recently so I'm catching up and getting back on track.

Firstly with Broken

Powerful broken shot - how do you get the red background??
Thanks. I tried several colours - a green cardboard box, a blue lever arch file and a red plastic Polly pocket folder. Just placed a few inches being the subject with ceiling bounced flash. I wanted to find something yellow, but I couldn't.
