Almost zero... few(less than 10) serious injuries in a year..
thanks for latest safety equipment and well builded cars.. roads are surrounding with trees and speed are really high in here.. Come a look! :D
 
Ouch... some spectators got a little bit closer that they would have preferred, cant believe some people were clapping and laughing after watching a car spin through the air and smash into a tree...

That is one thing what i really don't like in here... spectators even try to hiding for covering road lines( driver can't quess so easy what is coming)
 
There can't be very many MkI Toyota Starlets left in Finland if that video is anything to go by :lol:
 
Aye nobodie can fly like a finn, apart from perhaps Colin Mcrae (amen)
I'd just like to thank the Finnish nation for doing more testing and development of roll cages and sefety devices than any other nation :)

yes there are some monumental 'off's' in that video, but if it shows you a few things they are:

how bloody strong the roll cages are, i only saw 1 that looked like the cage had collapsed

why you don't stand on the outside of a corner
 
I quite enjoy watching rally cars crash but I've never understood why :shrug:

Perhaps it's the adrenaline, or the chance of a good action shot?
 
ha ha - you should watch some of the stuff on freeview (crash etc) they are bonkers.... makes most people look like safe drivers...
 
Haha class, was thinking watching that a few camera men were a bit lucky, not for getting the video clips, but avoiding being squished!... then saw the end... hope he/she was ok! :eek:

I love watching rallying, shame the coverage isn't as good as it was and that we havent got any strong british WRC contenders... miss Colin McRae.:(

My cousins do a bit of rallying too, there's a video on youtube of one of them in an off and the crowd helping him out!
