Finding time to enjoy your hobby

At the risk of sounding realistic, it's a hobby, do it in your spare time. If you're going to get hung up on the '6 weeks holiday' comment, we better not mention the half term, xmas, easter etc.... ;)

We all have crosses to bear, some are heavier than others, some even have splinters in them :D

60+ hours a week in a normal job, running a basketball club, training Tues,Wed,Thurs, game night on Friday, volunteer event co-ordinator Sat/Sun, shooting for national league and get Monday evening off - you sleep when you die. Have fun doing everything you do, even the bits that are not that funny.

Phil.

I'm lucky work 4 on4 off so do get time to get out
It's factory work but the money is not too bad and the lads I work with are great
Am married so do have to spend time with the missus as well
But do manage at least one trip a week so I'm very lucky:)

Since my bag contents are worth (well, would cost to replace) around £3,000, I'm not sure I'll be leaving them in the car on spec, however, I always have my mobile on me when I'm out and about and that's better than no camera. I also have a now elderly Nikon Coolpix 3100 which could live in the car but my wife has taken a fancy to it (very simple to use and gives decent pics) so would rather like to keep that safe too.

I'm also off driving at the moment (medical reasons, not naughtiness!) so the odd detour is a little hard. I have spotted some good colours within an easy walk (can actually see one good tree (Sumach) from the window a yard or 2 away from where I'm sitting) and next door have a virginia creeper which will be turning soon. Shame there's a hill and houses in the way, or I'd have a sea view as well (albeit at a distance of about 10 1/2 miles).
