A young friend is struggling and feels that she needs to talk to someone.
Aside from the obvious searches does anyone have any suggestions as to how to find someone good ?
East London is their location, and she doesn't have a lot of money.
I'd rather not say any more on the forum but if anyone can help but feels a bit more information would help then I'm happy to discuss via PM.
Thank you.

Just a guess .......... ask The Samaritans for a contact. They are bound to have a very broad experience (and they are not in it for the money).

Hi, you can search on postcode and most counsellor's list prices...some offer free first session and cheaper rates for people on low income
Thank you Super - I hope this doesn't sound ungrateful, but they are the two I had first seen, but I will pass them on - much appreciated.
https://www.mind.org.uk/ they may be able to access free counselling from here

Thanks Doug - I'd not thought of them, another one to pass on. Again, much appreciated.
