Well things have finally turned round a little!! :D

Yesterday I attended my first ever interview, and just had a call back saying they want me back on Tuesday for a 2nd interview!!

And to top it off this morning I had a call about a job I applied for last month and the guy responsible for employing people has been off but a new guy has taken over and wants me in for an interview on Friday!! :D

Even if I dont get the job, I am happy I've now got some experience in interviews under my belt and know what to expect so I can prepare better for the next!!

So this week hasn't been too bad for me at all :)

After 18 months off myself, and over 250 job app's I think I could have a good guess...;)

It's nice to have time off, but it does get a little boring after a while!!! :lol:

Neither of you - just a phrase used by the luvvies in the theatre, I believe before some smart git on here tells me otherwise, bad luck to say good luck.:thumbs:

Just a bit of an update to this! :)

I just had a call about my 2nd interview, just waiting for the HR manager and director to come back in the country (ones on holiday other is in another country working) but had some feedback from the manager of the position. He said I was his preferred choice out of the 4 they've interviewed, but still need input from HR. So should hear back on Monday about it.

And still waiting to hear about the other one as he's been away on holiday too!
 
Fingers crossed that you get the offer of one of the two jobs quickly now Rob.

Congrats! Not wanting to count any chickens on your behalf, but I think there would have to be something seriously wrong between the manager and HR if you didn't get it now - he's the manage because they trust his judgement... Fingers crossed! :thumbs:
 
Thank you Chris. I'm not keeping my hopes up just in case. But at least I can take it as a positive. :)
