Finally Took the Plunge

Loved the photo's, found the site a bit plain. Hard to pin down exactly why, just didn't have the "must explore" factor. How good are your web site design abilities (out of interest)?

I need help. I used the template design because I thought it was easy but I see what you mean. The rules are quite strict and I cannot seem to get my banner right for the correct size so this is a put off.

Nice and slick, easy to navigate.
Some kind of image based banner would be a nice touch!

Where did you find the templte?
 
i liked it a lot. get some more imahes in.aome cool work in there .
only criticism that comes to mind is in the wording of the "creative work" section. rather than "i play around with in photoshop" . maybe "created in photoshop" reads better?
other than that, nothing strikes me as wrong.
i love "caught" by the way.
 
This is a good start at a portfolio site, I like its simplicity.

However, if you are thinking of making a business out of it I think you need a bit more on what you actually do. At least a page dedicated to Portraits. I'd also consider putting some form of pricing structure together for the portraits rather than asking people to contact you.
