Oh I'm a happy bunny today!
My new lens arrived this morning, and she was well worth the wait.

Nikon AF-S 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 VR

Brand new, ebay purchase. £265 delivered :woot:

Had a little mess about with her this morning, but had to go to work this afternoon, but I've got 3 days off work now, so should get some more time to play hopefully!

What a stunner of a lens. Solid, lovely to handle and not excessively heavy.

do you not have umbrellas down your neck of the woods! lol....

im looking to pick one of these up in the next week or so and the cheapest i have found is around £350. if you bought it from a retailer can you please pass on the details, the money saved can buy me a decent filter for it as well.
