well finally decided im going to buy the Canon 10-22mm tomorrow so watch this space for test shots.... who's got the lens, what you think of it?
also what 77mm UV filter should i get to go on it, no more than about £40.

I love it - takes a bit of getting used to and need stopped down quite a bit to reach its sweet spot! (f8-ish)

As for filter, ive got a Jessops skylight filter - mainly to protect the lens!
 
Get the Hoya Pro1 DMC UV filter. There's a few decent eBay shops that sell them for a decent price.
 
I have been debating buying this lens for the past 6 weeks.
Part of me thinks save some money and buy the sigma, but then the other part always leads me back towards the Canon. Has anyone tried both, or any advice on which to get?

Just make sure you're getting a genuine one if you're buying from ebay, there's a lot of fakes about
 
It's a GREAT lens, my mate has one, and uses it a lot of the time. I've had a few goes, and it's rather good!

Setting off now to go get it from Jessops, going to see if i can get them down to £460 on a price match, dare say they'll go for it due to the drop in sales etc.

Keep an eye out for some of my test shots!!
