Finally ordered a Manfrotto 055XPROB tripod and a 488RC2 head.
I have been struggling with a 7dayshop.com cheapo and although it has served me well and was worth ever last penny of the twelve or so quid I shelled out for it, on Saturday I decided I had had enough.
No shame to it either as I've had it about a year.
Had a search through a load of threads and after nearly being tempted by a rather nice Giottos, I went for the Manfrotto.
I remember about a year ago seeing one in a Magazine and thinking "who would pay that much for a tripod?"
Oh well, turns out its me
