My slideshows for wedding clients are created in Final Cut and then uploaded into Vimeo for them to view which is a process that works well. I can't however seem to get the slideshows to display as full 16:9 in the Vimeo player, as it currently displays them as 14:9 with black bars on either side of the slideshow.

I've tried to see where I can change this in either Final Cut or Vimeo but to no avail. I've also tried exporting from LR as 1920x1080 for the image size but that hasn't solved it.

Any thoughts would be great! Thanks.

When you first create the slideshow in Final Cut, what size are you telling it to be?

I'm not sure where it is in Final Cut that I get to select that? Is it in the import box or elsewhere? I've tried the 'transform' icon in the bottom left of the viewer which could be an option, although it zooms in the image somewhat to fit 16:9

Thanks for the help!

Start a new project in FCPX and drop your first picture into it. You should get the following dialogue.
