Hi

Any experts on Final Cut Pro X? I'm trying to add a batch of images to a music track once I've added beat markers to it (so the images cut in time to the music). I've added the markers, but once I 'select all' images, and then drag and drop next to the audio track they don't align up with the markers (i have 'snapping' enabled).

Am I trying to get it to do something it can't in the first place? Any advice appreciated!

Thanks

I think you are going to have to add them individually. When you drop the pictures on they will have "default" duration (usually 5s) and this will override the beat markers.

Drop the first pic on, stretch it to the beat marker, select the next picture, hit E, repeat.

Remember, it's really a video editor. Pictures are converted into a fixed duration video clip. What you're trying to do (speed up/slow down a clip to match beat markers) makes no real sense for video.
