Apologies if this is in the wrong discussion forum. For those people who use Filmdev to have their films developed and scanned, can I ask what your choices are? There are two scanners to choose from, three different "sized" scans and a choice of tiff or jpeg. I'm testing a few newly acquired cameras to see if everything is in working order, so I don't suppose it matters as much about the quality as project work.

I haven't shot colour for a while, but I used to just choose the standard scanner and small scans, unless I genuinely thought that a film had something special worth the extra money. I always got the negs returned and could scan them myself on my film scanner for a bigger scan if rquired. (rarely necessary  )

I usually choose Noritsu scanner and the medium scan. Unless it's a haif frame camera then I'll go large.

My scanner has gone rather wonky so their scan is it.

I get dev/only if I send any black and white film (only as a passenger with C41). For colour I used to get the medium scans but I've now decided to get large, since scanning C41 is too much of a black art for me, (and I don't have LR/PS for Negative Lab Pro etc).
