Film

If you're not in a hurry 7dayshop is probably the cheapest, if you just want to test a camera then Poundland sell 24 exp Kodacolor for, not surprisingly, £1 There are various film specialists including Silverprint in London, AG Photographic in Birmingham and Firstcall Photographic in Taunton.

And don't forget Amazon.. not always cheap, but the occasional source of a bargain if you keep your eye out (thinking about the FP-100C that between us we managed to clear off their warehouse shelves earlier this year).

Several films in the 7DS Special Offer list at the moment (I've only very quickly checked against Silverprint for comparison prices)..

Fuji Velvia 100F 120, 5-rolls for £17.99, singles £4.65
Fuji Neopan Acros 100 120, singles £3.79 - cheaper on Silverprint
Fujia Provia 400X Pro 120, singles £3.99
Fuji Superia 200 135-36, singles £2.49
Kodak Gold 200 135-36, singles £3.15
Kodak Pro T-MAX 100 135-36, singles £3.69
Kodak T-MAX 3200 (expired Oct) 135-35, 5-rolls £17.99, singles £3.89

Fuji Neopan Acros 100 120, singles £3.79 - cheaper on Silverprint

Cheaper at Process Supplies as well, at £3.32 a roll. It is £3.16 a roll at Silverprint but you have to buy it as a 5 roll pro pack. Acros has got expensive quick, I'm sure it was ~£2.79 or £2.89 not that long ago. Neopan 1600 has definitely gone up in the last month, I paid £4.85 a roll for two only a month and a half ago, and now it is £5.95.

If you need to stock up I'd suggest doing it soon, silver prices (and thus manufacturer prices) combined with efforts to close the VAT loophole mean the prices are only going one way :bang:

Just noticed that their expired Fuji Instant FP-100C has gone up a lot - paid £6.29 for it, now £8.99! :(

£9 for expired instant film. No thanks. I was lucky enough to stock up when amazon had some, in date, for about a fiver each.

AG can have my business these days

Has anyone seen FP-3000C at a reasonable price in the UK/EU? the only places I'm seeing it under about £15/pack is importing from HK.

Thanks freecom2, that's the seller I had seen. A couple of weeks ago they were listing 10x pack deals that looked tempting.

I'm looking forward to trying it out, but I need to get through this pack of FP-100C first. I really struggle to shoot ISO 100 film without a flash!

There's a reason I bought a second P-back.. .. ;)
