film wind lever not working

i have just bought a konica online and got it today. however, the film wind lever isn't working properly, i can't pull it all the way down to wind a film.

is there anything i can do and fix it by myself? thanks

It is an electronic shutter, but manual film advance, it will work without film and/or with the door open, but not without batteries. Put in new batteries and if still no luck then clean the row of pressure contact under the viewfinder.

what do you mean of 'clean the row of pressure contact under the viewfinder'?

They are inside the camera positioned under the viewfinder and would need for the camera to be striped.
