Seen a similar one on reddit with two tins of movie film.

The bit in the middle will be fine......honest. :)

It can of course still be used to test developers and fixing baths.
 
If it were cheaper I'd buy it just for the tin......

It used to be a standing joke for the 2 women in our office about the stuff I bought from eBay. One particular day I was challenged on "what rubbish have you been buying this time", and confessed that it was empty boxes. To be fair, they were just three cheap 5x4 film boxes which I intended to use for sending negs to the lab, but not everyone understood how sensible a purchase this was ....................... o_O
 
And let me guess, the closed little minds didn't even want to find out.

On the contrary, they seemed genuinely puzzled. They also wondered what was wrong with ordinary film you could get developed in town, and why didn't I have a digital camera anyway? :rolleyes: They were otherwise supportive, especially when they thought I was messing up!
