Weeks 18/19 - 7th May to 20th May

Two weeks combined this time - not because there were no good shots in one of the weeks - far from it, more that I didn't want the announcements to be lost amidst all the TP Megga-Meet Announcements etc.

So, once again, we've a interesting assortment of shots, the first of which being this lovely B&W image taken by @djguru at the Ulster American Folk Park in Omagh.

Showing just what a nicely exposed and carefully developed frame of roll of Adox CHS 50 Art is capable of rendering.

Originally posted here along with a couple of additional images which are well worth a second glance.

Second, is this shot from @Sectionate which manages to perfectly combine 3 of my interests - Film Photography, Architecture and Cycling.

and finally, and by pretty overwhelming popular nomination, we have this truly stunning image from @strax of the Old Man of Storr

Well worth the hours climb in the dark lugging the Bronica ETRS, I'm sure you'll agree...

Hopefully Normal service will be resumed from next week, so keep your nominations coming in.

Hey Mark
I really like the first one, it's really haunting. I also like the lead lines, you lined it up really well.
The third picture is gorgeous.

Hi Luke, you're right about the pictures, they're great, and I'd have been proud to have taken any one of them - however, if you look at the links, they're actually three shots that were some of the highlights of the last couple of weeks shooting by all the folk in the Film and Conventional section...

All I did was put them in one place and stick a link onto the home-page to promote the amazing people we have on here...

I have to start reading the posts more carefully :banghead:

Three cracking images, all different all excellent, well done chaps!

them photos is amazing.. love the first one.. just pure ..love that light feel like its bringing you into the picture.. the second one is that in stratford ?

Just realised this thread existed, need to get down with this interactive social media-ry 'liking' lark! Thanks for the nominations folks, although Strax's Storr shot is just stunning.

My apologies Guys, things have been rather manic Chez Yin over the last three weeks or so, and frankly I've barely had time to login and check the staffroom to see if I've lost my Namebadge and Hairnet through absenteeism. While I love this place, obviously paying work occasionally has to take precedence over things that don't put food on the table or keep the roof over my head.

I'll try and get a catch-up thread covering the three weeks from 21st May through to 10th June organised and in place by tomorrow.

Any nominations you wish to make before tomorrow morning for images that were posted on here within the above date range are welcomed.
