Film for the Greek Odessey - thoughts?

I fully understand Paul, it can be expensive but the good thing is is that money is no object as I am richer than Croesus...... Oh, hang on, I'm being told that this is not the case and that I've spent the housekeeping. :exit:

@Andysnap ha ha, I guess maybe I also am fortunate to be able to indulge a little on the housekeeping.

My film list for 6 weeks in Malaysia was:

x2 Ilford Delta 100 (my favourite B&W)
x3 Kodak Porta 400
x1 Kodak Porta 160
x1 Kodak Ektar 100
x1 Fujifilm Velvia 50
x1 Fujifilm Porvia 400

I took a mishmash as I like to shoot different things. This was all 120. I also had my digital camera.

I don't remember seeing the results from this, Paul? Did you have a good time?

I don't believe cidre travels well outside of Somerset, you might have to substitute whisky.

Seriously though, you realise you are in easy distance of dozens of wonderful photo opportunities? There's Glasgow itself, walk along the Clyde as well as a bit of Street, the Clockwork Orange underground as @Crtm demonstrated, Helensburgh, Lomondside, the Trossachs, over into Argyll, up to Oban, Loch Awe, down the coast to Largs, Ayr etc, ferry rides to Bute and Arran, the train to Lanark and go see New Lanark, Stirling, Edinburgh... it is photographic heaven. Specially in winter! (I'm not joking, the light on some winter days is just amazing...)

I'm reading this with interest re film types as I am off to Malta on Tuesday taking my Kodak Brownie 127 and my Canon AE-1 with it's 50mm and 28mm lenses (not sure the Olympus will be here on time so not going to think about it). I am taking Tri-X400, Ilford HP5 Plus 400, Ilford FP4 Plus 125 and 6 Rera Pan 127 100 I don't have any colour film and I'm not worried about developing my own color film at this moment as I am taking my Canon 60D too. But what's worrying me is I have read that the Tri-X and the HP5 are very versatile even in sunnier conditions, is this the case or am I mislead?

Great opportunities up here in the Highlands to be had re photography as for cider I'm not sure but there are some decent locally brewed ales.
