I just got back a roll of film taken on my Ricoh GR1s and the shop scanned it for me high resolution.
I can see a lot of scratches on the photo but not something i have seen before.
they are large and have a wave pattern?????
Could it be when they scanned it.
i check the inside of the camera and its mint

And have you looked at the negs? If they're not scratched take them back and ask them to scan again.

Have you run any other film through the GR1s before or after the scratched film?

Thanks for replying so fast guys, phone the lab and they said it could be chemical residue, the film is a bit scratch when i look at it in to the light.
only the middle frame show this weird smudge wave like things.
I put my second rool in and will have to see how it come out

Not sure what we are looking at here! I can see some apparent scratches on the Adshel-bus-stop thing, but from the angle looks like it's on the object, not just the photo. I can't see the wavy thing; where should we look?

I can't see anything on the images posted as they are too small and I'm viewing on a laptop. Might they be "Newton Rings" caused during the scanning process?

Well, the images are too small to really say what, if anything, is going on.

As it stands, I can't see anything unusual in the first image. As for the second, there's not much that I can see either given its small size, although there does seem to be traces of a faint horizontal line running though the kid's left leg, his rear tyre, and on through to the window.
