Not being used to doing much post processing, could you please give advice on reducing photo file sizes. I note that 200kb is the max size allowed for uploading on this site. I have an old version of Paint Shop Pro and can not find an option to reduce files sizes. I therefore used Microsoft Office Picture Manager to compress before uploading. On using this option to compress to web size, after uploading some pics to this site, I find they have been resized to a much smaller size than other memebers photo's. In addition they do not look very sharp as I believe the file sizes are now approx 90kb. An example of the problem can be seen under my own gallery on the site. I do not want to purchase a new version of photo processing, as I am not likely to use it much.

It's free. I haven't used it myself for resizing - I use ACDSee - but many people here swear by it. (or is it swear at it )

If your using an XP machine Microsoft have an image resizer in PowerToys Image Resizer

These work great and easy to use. Anyone aware of any free RAW convertor software. Always shot JPEG format, but would like to give RAW a try before purchasing any expensive software.
