Yes
just a quick question im hoping someone could help me with,
i have just batch converted my raw files into jpegs,
the thing is the jpegs are larger than the .arw files is this normal.
as an example one .arw file is 12mb and the .jpeg of the same picture is 13.3mb.

don't use the highest file size then, i find 80% works quite well when i zoom in and adjust the quality with the slider.

thanks for replying,
there wasnt a slider i used image prossesing in bridge, the options i can see are resize and quailty, i think the largest i would want to print these is 5x8 what would you recomend i set them at,
thanks again

im not sure with bridge, i will leave that question for someone else, i use a batch droplet in CS5 to do mine :)

If you are going to print then use Highest quality no matter what the file size.
I know you can get away with a lot but untill you print them out you can't tell as you are seeing them at around 72 ppi on screen.
Once you have saved them at lower res then you loose a lot if you want to change them later.
