Not sure how many fellow combat sports photographers get on here but I've created a group on flickr to to bring together a collection of old and new UK mma photo's. The group is looking for all types of shots that capture the atmosphere in the UK from the small amateur shows all the way through to the big pro shows.
If anyones interested go to UK MMA Photo submit your own shots.

Don't think any of yours are on there but please submit some images to the group.

Cool, I used to fight too in smaller comps and an interclub but I'm too old now and don't really have time to train. There is a few pics of me somewhere but I obviously didn't take them and they are really bad.
What shows have you fought on?

I have lots of galleries of fight pics.. but sorry.. i wouldnt put a single one on flickr ...cheap and nasty place for photographs.

IMHO of course..

Iv fort on quite a few, shoot n sprawl, sprawl and brawl, fight UK, fort for the ico English title on cage control too.

theres not alot of love for flickr at the moment from anyone. You get out of it what you want to.
The main reason for setting it up is to help out fellow photographers who are starting out so no you probably wouldn't benefit. However the group does have a submission from the best and most well known photographer in mma Lee Whitehead, so there is an oportunity for every one to learn.

Fight UK is a big show now and gradually building a good reputation although they have recently cancelled their latest show. I have never shot at there but I do know some of the owners and organisers of the promotion.
