Fidel Castro dead.

Just heard on the news Fidel Castro has died aged 90.

yup, oddly enought might further improve the US Cuba relations.
He was an odd one, but at one point US citizens were travelling to Cuba for the healthcare.

He had a good run as they say. We never really got to hear the true story where he and his brand of communism were concerned.

Watched a documentary on Nat Geographic last night.

You see him back in the 60's harping on about democracy and how he is not a communist but roll on 50 years and I would hardly call his reign 'democratic'.
Has communism work for Cuba? Arguably not.

Without the Soviet Union, I reckon they would have been screwed and resorted to some sort of capitalism.
