I purchased this item sometime ago but could never get it to work but I am now revisiting the issue with a revitalized interest in photography.
I have tried to understand how to get the monitor to work from online material, incuding youtube videos, but have not had any sucess. I am somehat blindsided by all the connection options on the monitor itself.

I have things currently setup with my Nikon D 3500 camera with a charged NP-F750 monitor battery & a HDMI cable in place between beween the camera & monitor but the monitor does not work depressing the touch or menu button.

Any thoughts on what I need to do to get the monitor working and/or specific hardware I need to do so. Thanks.
 
If you've connected the monitor by HDMI then it should work.

These Feelworld devices (as well as others) are cheap chinese junk. Are you sure it even works?
 
a smallhd 5" is a bit more expensive but well worth the money :)
