Afternoon all,

I'm having a bit of a dilemma!! :thumbsdown:
I haven't had much time recently to get my cemera out and have a real good play around with it and am finding it really hard to be motivated and inspired by anything!!
Can anyone give me a bit of advice on how to reignite my enthusiam.
I have tried looking at lists for inspiration but have no idea where to start!!!

try taking photos of every room of your house (and outside). Treat it as if you are trying to sell your house, get the best angles, best light, make room look bigger, highlight the areas you think are best, but only one photo per room!

If nothing else, in 10yeas time you have a record of what your house used to look like!
 
Go to library,and flick thought a few books by photographer,seeing something in print may help you get going :)
 
Alphabet. Find something in your house for every letter of the alphabet and photograph in an interesting or abstract way. You could then post them on here and ask people to guess what they are.
 
Choose a colour and go out ( or stay in) and photograph that colour.

I've felt the same recently Michelle. I thought about a couple of the above suggestions already, but am now thinking of themes; 7 deadly sins, 7 wonders of the world (?), hidden meanings etc

just get out there and get clicking :thumbs:
 
Great ideas here.

A while ago I decided to photograph traffic roundabout sculptures as a little project. I got really excited about it but I'd forgotten how busy the roads can be :bonk: :D
 
why did you buy a camera in the first place ? what was it that first interested you ? portraits, landscapes, macro. Whatever it was think back to then and what you hoped to achieve. Have youg got there are there areas of that field you can improve on etc. Maybe it will inspire you to go back to your roots and improve on what you originally wanted to start on.
