Hey all, been working on my new site this weekend and have it pretty much finished. Tested it as much as I can really and just wanted some feedback/comments/testing from some other people.

Kind of the point though. I wanted a completely plain site so the focus is the pictures.

Whats the goal and purpose? Photos are an eclectic mix.
 
yeah, the goal is to have all my stuff in one place (still being slowly uploaded) as people didn't know whether to link to my flickr or 500px or old blog or what. im not a pro so its not designed to get me work.

i did think about having some kind of category system as when more photos go up its just gonna get more random
 
Its not instantly obvious that its a photography website - it could be about travel or cycling (looking at the images). Maybe something to let people know that its about the photography and organisation of categories as you said.

It loaded fast for me, just think it needs a bit of organisation.
 
Maybe have a few different categories and an 'about me' sort of page so we know what you and your site are all about?
But other than that...very simple and clean
 
Yeah, about me section is coming. Need to figure out where to put the category links. Maybe top right and replace the 'top' button, not sure if anyone uses it.

Also, did anyone notice you can press the up and down arrows on your keyboard to scroll through images? Don't know if its noticeable/worth keeping.
 
Viewing it on a 1920x1200 screen, it would be nice to align all photos in the middle. For example, the vertical image is left aligned. It would also be nice to have the navigation in the middle to ensure some symmetry.
