Favourite Tune!

Whats your favourite song at the moment?

Mines got to be Broken by jack johnson

Dan

That's probably in my top 3 most played right now too.

"If I had a minute for every hour that I wasted, I'd be rich in time. I'd be doing fine"

It all speaks to me but that's just brilliant.

I generally like best the song that I'm working on at the time (I'm a singer). LOL. Right now that means Feelin' Good by Nina Simone.

'Home' by Breaking Benjamin - can't get enough of them at the mo :)

Surrendered by The Bluetones

'Pretender' - Foo Fighters

:agree::plusone:

Divenire - Ludovico Einaudi

Had the pleasure of hearing him in concert in Berlin earlier in the year and it was even more of a pleasure to meet him afterwards. This tune takes me to a different place.

Chris :)

Ok, this is just too spooky now.

Since seeing him at the albert hall a month or two back I don't think I've gone more than a few hours without an Einaudi tune or 5.

I didn't get to meet the man personally but it was the most amazing musical experience I have ever been to.

Another Jack Johnson fan here and foo fighters :)

One of my favourite album's is Massive Attack's Mezzanine. Pink Floyd's Division Bell is awesome too, Too many to choose from really lol

Hi dazzajl. We have seen him many times and have been lucky in that he has played Liverpool and Manchester a few times. When we met him in Berlin I could have ended up single. There is no doubt in my mind that my partner would have run off with the great man. He is a gentleman and the closest thing to a true genius that I have met. Here is a pic of my partner (Lou) with him looking very starstruck.

Just had a listen on youtube - Very very pleasant indeed.

Me, I'm more of an Eels fan, in fact anything by the Eels !

Oh Yes, I'm with you chewy!!!! Did you see the show about E's dad!!! Genius!

Oh and fav song - hmmm - anything my son is currently working on :D - I'm sooo biased!!!

I've always been a rocker, but since i've been playing guitar hero 3, i've been back to my roots and it has to be....

Ozzy Osbourne - Bark At The Moon

OK, in a daft attempt to keep the connections I have in this thread going. I did watch Shrek (for the 2037th time) the other day, which has a great Eels track in there and I played bark at the moon yesterday as a little workout for a new speaker/amp combo I set up.

Blue Moon,

I will be seeing Ludovico at every possible opportunity from now on. I had one CD of his when a friend of mine said he'd bought me a ticket. I now have 7 or 8 albums and have even bought a Duduk.

Damn that things hard to play.

I missed it!
His Dad is a quantum physist (spelling) who I think predicted the appearance of parallel universe so reckon it should have been pretty good !

Spot on! Up with Einstein in the physicist ranks!

I no longer have it recorded but its probably somewhere in the cable ether waiting for a reshow!

This weeks tune is Let it Die - Foo Fighters

Nothing like a good bit of loud music to help with Christmas Stress , Helps me avoid shouting at the family / relatives / guests :D

Oops, gotta add another one now. Honey Bee by Tom Petty. Perfect mix of slide and sleaze. ;)

- CJ

^^ I love Tom Petty, fantastic, must have all his albums :)

Into the great wide open and wildflowers on a sunny day in the car, magic.

Wow you have a great voice CJ ;)

Cold Black Devil on your myspace is great, I love the American Myth album. Would definately come to see you play if I was on the other side of the pond. Do you have any more tracks or a cd available?

CJ - when is the cd coming out - we need to know (and don't forget that dvd you have been promising either..)
My current favourite - hmm - been in a quiet phase recently, and most of Jackson Brownes first album, especially 'The times you've come' and then Boz Scaggs - 'Loan me a dime' with an awesome slide guitar by the one and only Duane Allman ( there is also a recent live version Boz Scaggs did, which is pretty good too!) and then , on the manic moments, try Shpongle - Dorset Perceptions - an amazing stoney foot-tapping trancy crazy noise, that needs serious volume.. Worth checking out, though not too easily available, I believe
