Yes
Not sure if this has been done before, but just curious as to what you listen to most the time. I'm an A Perfect Circle / Tool fan.

"Don't fret precious I'm here, step away from the window"

As per the above, plus....

Nirvana, Paramore, Black Sabbath, 36 Crazyfists, A Day to Remember, Deftones, Protest the Hero, Architects, Parkway Drive, Killswitch Engage, Atreyu, Slipknot, Thrice, Helmet, In Flames, City and Colour etc etc

:D

Hmm.
In the last couple of years i've been pretty much obsessed with Innerpartysystem. Well worth a look on youtube :)

Before that, it was all about Linkin Park, Feeder, Muse...

Still got a soft spot for Feeder (or 'Renegades' as they now seem to be known )

'Dont stop' is my personal favourite

This thread makes me feel old.

Pink Floyd, The Pogues, The Damned.

Just transferring all my CDs onto the PC so I'm rediscovering lots that I haven't listened to for a long time.

Pink Floyd are fantastic, you can never be too young to appreciate them! :D

My favourites are Pendulum, Calvin Harris, The Editors, Lostprophets (old and new stuff), Idlewild, Kaiserchiefs, Paramore, Air Traffic, Biffy Clyro, Billy Talent, Rise Against, Cherry Ghost, Coldplay, Embrace, Florence + The Machine, The Fray, Foo Fighters, Ghosts, Hadouken!, John Frusciante, Kate Voegele, The Killers, Kooks, Madness, Mark Owen, Mexicolas, Miike Snow, Mumford and Sons, Ocean Colour Scene, Oasis, Razorlight, Snow Patrol, **, Wombats, We are Scientists..

A lot of music, a lot of genres, but I love them all!
:)

Makes me feel old too especially as i saw most of these live too, so here goes

Deep Purple, AC/DC, Rainbow (with Dio) Iron Maiden, Kiss and probably a bit surprisingly after that lot
Big Country

I have quite a mix and have never favoured a particular genre, here are a few all time faves;

Led Zeppelin, Joni Mitchell, Bowie, Modest Mouse, Portishead, Allman Brothers, Sigur Ros, Carla Bruni, Arab Strap, Soundgarden, The Knife, Belle and Sebastian, Bill Callaghan, Fleetwood Mac, Regina Spektor, Black Stone Cherry and so many more!

If you count the number of times I've been to concerts it's almost a tie between Tangerine Dream (saw them last Thursday at the Royal Albert Hall) and Richard Thompson, but Sandy Denny died when I was about eight years old so I never got to see her and Steve Reich doesn't tour - the one time I saw him performing M18M I had to go to the Carnegie Hall.

I've only seen Mark Shreeve once (1990 in Sheffield) but some of his more recent output with Redshift and Arc is stunning, just never seem to get to the (rare) live performances. I also still play Aqualung (Jethro Tull), Number of the beast (Iron Maiden) and Misplaced Childhood (Marillion) an awful lot.

Depeche Mode is my all-time favourite band - saw them 3 times on the current tour alone.

Aside from that mainly rock influence - Foo Fighters, Guns n Roses, Nirvana, Seether ... stuff like that.

mine is Pixie Lott, Miley Cyrus, Alexandra Burke...that type...that no one likes. :(

Soundgarden are reforming, just in case you didn't know. I'll be having any of their new releases on pre-order :D

Doors, Led Zep, Boston, Susan Boyle, The Who, Sia, We The Kings, Sonic Boom Six [They are in Norwich tommorow and I should have an access all areas pass.....] I was only joking about Susan Boyle. Generally the heavy end but enjoy some opera and musicals.

Don't worry help is at hand :)
There are loads of "Floydies" on here
They should all start coming out of the wood work soon.
( they always do ;) )
"The Wall" has to be the greatest album ever

Listen to everything and anything so don;t really have a fave, it depends on what mood I'm in :D

Back in Black/Razors Edge great Albums, Manics :D, to many to type in one list but generally whats on the radio! iPhone is crammed full of so leaving it on complete random always adds a giggle. Good fun when the suns out, the roads are clear and a good song is playing and you catch someone looking in the window when your singing at full pelt :D

Iron Maiden, Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax, AC/DC, Mastodon, Gojira, Opeth, Korn, Faith No More, Def Leppard, Machine Head, Joe Satriani, Chickenfoot, Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Rammstein, Queens of the Stone Age & System Of A Down. :D

Not a bad list there buddy  - for a liverpool fan ;)

I'm not particularly choosy about my music, I listen to a wide variety. My two top favourites are Tears for Fears, and Mark Knight's Gamesounds.

Genesis(Peter Gabriel era), ELP, Yes, Sabbath, Zep, Greenday, Pink Floyd, REM, countless others:lol::lol:

Good man! I'm a huge Tangerine Dream fan myself, I've got 96 of their albums. There's still another ten of their latest stuff I want to buy up! I've even got the T-Shirt . . . but I didn't realise they played live here in England recently!
While the line up has been constantly changing over the years, there's only been two constants; the essence of their music, and of course the founder Edgar Froese.

Pink Floyd, Bauhaus, The Clash, Sisters of Mercy, Morphine, Led Zeppelin, The Smiths, David Bowie, Radiohead, Nick Cave, Joy Division, Depeche Mode, Deep Purple, The Stone Roses, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Bob Dylan, The Doors, Velvet Underground, Fields of the Nephilim...
I'm also a fan of classic music. :)

Nice to see some of my favorite bands showing up here! Along with the older rock/metal bands I always tend go back to Incubus, Porcupine Tree, Madness, Portishead, The Cardigans, Regina Spektor, Pearl Jam...

edit: Does anyone here use Lastfm?

Some great taste in music (and some dubious tastes  ). No favourite band as such, but I do like stuff by......

Metallica, Disturbed, Rise Against, S.O.A.D, Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, Mudvayne, ACDC, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Matthew Good, Shinedown, and lots of 80's hair-metal bands :D to name but a few!

That's a few (but not many) more than me. They opened with four masked cellists playing a bit of what sounded very like Birth of Liquid Plejades from Zeit, something I never thought to hear at a concert, and played for over three hours.

Bought a Tangerine Dream album years ago, think it was called Richochet, do remember it was made from a very bendy type of vinyl

Wanted to hear what they were like, once I had didn't buy any more and gave it away, not my thang at all

Wasn't really into German machine music such as Kraftwerk and Can, but they do seem to have been an influence on some modern music.

Lady GaGa ......... Most talented musician and song writer ever! :D
