Favourite films?

Whats your favourite film(s), and why?

Mine are:

The Matrix trilogy
Happy Gilmore ()

Plus various other ones that vary, depending on my mood :D

Over to you...

Happy Gillmore is a classic, still laugh everytime I see it.

Love the Lord of the Ring trilogy, must have watched the extended versions a few times now.

In no real order:

Back To The Future Trilogy
The Blues Brothers
Shawshank Redemption

always enjoy a cheesy action movie too, but would never buy one, just wait for ITV to re-show them.

All time favorite
Star wars IV very much ahead of its time when it was released
Star wars V & VI good follow ups
Can't really rave about I II & III but not bad Prequals

Top gun for the sound effects as well

For me the favourite is Highlander, just love it and the soundtrack
Closely followed by The Italian Job(orig version) and Zulu, could watch em for hours :D

For me, Deliverance with Jon Voight and Burt Reynolds.
For the way it starts off as an innocent trip on the river to something a bit more terrifying than the rapids. and of course this,

I have a list of movies I really enjoy, and a clear favourite. A film I never watch so I don't spoil it by over watching it. When I choose to rewatch it I want it to be as fresh as the day I saw it. I haven't seen it in about 4 years now. I haven't seen it since I became a photographer in fact. The film is Amélie. "Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain" The cinematography is beautiful. There's a red and green theme running through the film. Its simply an inspiring film that reminds you to look at clouds.

Amelie! lovely film :)

Whats your favourite movie? - is such a hard question to answer. There are so many films that I love, picking one is almost impossible.

Today I have decided to say:

Mean Streets

Total Classic. First Scorsese/De Niro combo. Hervey Keitel in there as well, a fantastic film. The spawn of a genre, its style imitated in films made even to this day. Love it

Saying that, I did watch an Australia film called 'Kenny' the other day. It made me laugh so hard I nearly threw up.
