Yes
Following on from Lawrence's thread, what are your favourite comedy films of all time?

Here are 10 of mine (in no particular order)....

The Producers (1968)
Young Frankenstein
Sleeper
Play it Again Sam
The Life of Brian
The Blues Brothers
Duck Soup
Whisky Galore!
Genevieve
Kind Hearts and Coronets

Ohhhh difficult this one,

Blazing Saddles
Airplane
Shrek (any of them)
Blues Brothers
Kingpin
Happy Gilmore
Naked Gun (any of them)
Anchorman
Laurel and Hardy - Way out West
Pink Panther (any of them)

Life of Brian is my favorite, by a long way.

The Party (Peter Sellers)
The Pink Panther (early ones)
Early Carry On films (lewd, crude, but bloody funny)
Naked Gun

Trying not to repeat any already listed......
The Music Box (Laurel & Hardy...just one of many tbh)
It's a mad,mad,mad,mad World
Those magnificent men in their flying machines

Pink Panther (any of them)

I assume you mean the original Peter Sellers films, rather than any of the later rubbish such as Curse of the Pink Panther, Son of the Pink Panther and those awful films with Steve Martin. The Trail of the Pink Panther, made using left over clips from the previous films was dire too....

Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Blazing Saddles
Young Frankenstein
Caddyshack
City Slickers
The Jerk
The man with 2 brains

The Holy Grail
Life Of Brian
Dumb and Dumber
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels
See No Evil, Hear No Evil

Losts of classics there.
Animal house and Porkies as well.
I also love Norman Wisdoms films as well, still makes me chuckle.

At the risk of being labelled a Pseud, I absolutely love Branagh's version of Much Ado about Nothing.

Otherwise:

The Importance of Being Ernest (both versions)
Oh What a Lovely War
Withnail and I
Restless Natives
Most of Bill Forsyth's stuff, Gregory's Girl, Local Hero et al
Whisky Galore

Edit...
almost forgot Cyrano de Bergerac.

Any Zombi Film we know the plot it's the same

main characters last to know,
gender mixed group.
holed up in some place with more holes than a siv.
couple of fights, "OMG there not dying" 10mins later "shoot them in the head".
one of them gets bit and hides it.
the group find out.
they get tied up in the hope they will recover, and nobody wants to shoot them.
young skinny girl left in charge of bitten person, as they change she is chased but shoots them in the end.
they find lots of dark places to look for supplies.

Classics, in no particular order

The Out of Towners.

The original one with Jack Lemmon, just so funny.

Most films produced / directed by Mel Brooks.

So may good ones so far.

Multiplicity always makes me chuckle - (Michael Keaton cloning himself)

The Great Outdoors - John Candy & Dan Aykroyd

Planes Trains & Automobiles - Funny & sad

Probably loads of others I've forgotten

Whilst I love a good number of the comedies listed here, with some sheepishness I have to admit that the one I have watched more times than any other is My Cousin Vinny. I've even been to see some of the filming locations on a couple of my US road trips.

The fact that Marisa Thomei won an Oscar for it gives it a slight credibility.

Nothing with either Adam Sandler or Will Ferrell :shake:
both SO unfunny its almost painful :gag:

thinking about it you can add Ben Stiller to the unfunny list :suspect:

i do like things like..
Kevin & Perry go large
Superbad
Team America
Borat
the Ali G movie
Uncle Buck
Planes trains & Automobiles
Trading Places
National Lampoons Vacation plus Euro & Christmas vacations
American Pie series of films
Dumb & Dumber
Shaun of the dead
Kick-Ass
the hangover
Role models
Man with 2 brains
hear no evil see no evil
40 year old virgin
Fanboys

for a regular on TV laugh you really cant go far wrong with Family Guy & American Dad. both awesome

totally agree with the old classics.
myself - have seen gazillion movies, hard to make a top 10 .

somewhat funny, at the moment totally my favorite movie - The Dead Man starring J.Depp by J.Jarmuch faaaaantastic movie !!!!
one of the best comedies I can remember - A serious man by Coen brothers . Have seen all of their movies - all fantastic !
Fellini's - Amacord , the famous 8 1/2 is somewhat tragicomic.
Kustorica's movies are a gift from heaven.
some French - Dellicatessen , sitcom , Le Dîner de Cons, visitors .
loads of fantastic british films. if I get my brain on track, could talk for hours.
but then - I'm a complete movie freak.

Rise of the footsoldier is the best brit film i've seen so far

its not a comedy but there are a few funny moments
