faux tilt and shift

well i think its called faux tilt and shift and i was wandering if any one knew of a good vid, i have just watched 2 but cant get them to work

Tutorial in what, creating tilt shift with a camera or through processing?

Are you refering to images with a narrow band in focus that look like minatures or are you talking about correcting converging verticals ? (I have heard both called tilt shift) I'm guessing you mean the former.
What software do you have?

A quick and dirty way of doing it.
Open pic in photoshop.
marquee tool the rough area you want sharp
select/refine edge and add a fair bit of feather to soften the edge of the blured area
select inverse to select the bits you want blured
filter/lens blur and ajust the radius till your happy
(if the wrong area is blured click the invert option at the top)
